This notice explains how JubahPanda handles the personal data you give us when you register, as required by the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia).
Who we are
JubahPanda is an independent convocation-robe runner service for UMPSA graduates. We are not part of UMPSA. You can reach us on WhatsApp at +60145332637 or by email at [email protected] for any question about your data.
What we collect
Your full name, matric number, WhatsApp number, faculty, programme level, robe size and convocation session. If you choose cash-on-delivery, your Kuantan delivery address. Optionally, your email address (used only to email you your booking confirmation) and a note. We also record when you agreed to this notice. All fields except the email address and the note are obligatory; without them we cannot collect your robe.
Why we use it
To collect your robe from UMPSA on your behalf, to contact you on WhatsApp about your booking, to arrange pickup or delivery, to email you a booking confirmation if you gave an email address, and to keep payment records.
Where it comes from
From you, through the registration form or on WhatsApp.
Who sees it
Our runners and admins. UMPSA robe-counter staff, when our runner collects your robe on your behalf (your name, matric number and authorisation letter). WhatsApp (Meta), which carries our messages. Resend, which delivers our emails, and Google (Gmail), which hosts our team mailbox: each new booking is emailed to our team so it is handled promptly. Cloudflare, which carries traffic to this website, and our hosting provider. Your data is stored on a server in Malaysia (Johor). We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
One year from your registration, after which it is deleted. Backups may hold a copy for up to 14 further days.
Your rights
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent, which means we delete it. Message us on WhatsApp or email us. If you withdraw consent before your robe is collected, we may not be able to complete your booking.
How we protect it
Access is limited to our team through password-protected accounts. We do not ask for or store your IC number, and we do not store identity documents on this website.
